I’ve been away for a couple of days – both physically and mentally – and it’s been pricked with a selection of emotions. Some delicious, others tongue wilting.
As is the way of this life.
Gotta have a slice of acid cake with your sweet tea to enable you to understand the difference, so they say.
Whoever “they” may be.
While away I tried my hand at a spot of photography for a friend’s wedding and must say that I enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
The above pic is an unedited one I took of the beautiful bride, Helen, seeing her amazing little boy, Ethan, all dressed up.
Big congrats and thanks for allowing me to be part of their day to Big Jason, Helen and Ethan. Special love witnessed is a wonderful gift!
After I have sorted through the two thousand pics I had a clicking finger in I will drop a few on here for you to see.
I then came back and visited Auntie Joanie in the hospice and had my heart sliced in two. Bless her for her strength and humility in the face of such stacked cards.
To the bravest woman I have ever known.
Also big love to her two daughters for the ache they must feel.
On another brighter note, I have also just noticed that I have now reached and breached 5,000 followers!
Fank you one and all. Well, especially those who are kind enough to stay around a while.
Hope you are all well.
Normal service is about to resume.
Or as normal as my mind will allow. Which is as far from normal! As far from normal as I am from Melbourne!
